‘X-Files’ Cast Party ‘Bittersweet’

‘X-Files’ Cast Party ‘Bittersweet’

HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash) – Although The X-Files is going out with a big bang on May 19, the cast party for the final episode was more sad than scary. According to country singer Junior Brown, who attended the final cast party last week in Hollywood, it had a bittersweet tone that left him feeling melancholy. Brown says he tried to liven up the cast and crew with his rendition of “Johnny B. Goode,” but he could tell everyone was having a hard time letting go of the show. Brown can relate. He played a “dirty farmer” on a 1998 episode and says he got so much mileage out of his brief appearance that he’s now dying to take on more acting roles. In fact, he hopes to play a spy if Mike Myers makes another Austin Powers movie and has a song, “KGB” he thinks is perfect for the soundtrack.
