Bridal Horror Stories

Bridal Horror Stories

BOSTON (Wireless Flash) – A Boston-based support group for brides celebrates its one-year anniversary tonight – and boy, the troubles its members have seen. The Bridal Survival Club was created to help soon-to-be-married ladies avoid the pitfalls of planning a wedding, but that hasn’t prevented some gaffes. Group facilitator Arlene Cronk says she’s heard all sorts of horror stories, including one about a bride whose mother got her dress stuck in her front door on the day of the wedding and couldn’t budge because no one had a key. Another bride had her future mother-in-law address the invitation envelopes and when they came back, there were 50 more – all addressed to her mother-in-law’s friends. Finally, one bride says her wedding cake didn’t make it to her fancy hotel reception because the streets around the hotel were blocked off for a parade.
