Still, that didnt stop three men from attacking some Amish riding in a horse-drawn buggy in Loyal, Wisconsin. The wannabe thieves told police they were under the impression Amish folks carried around lots of cash, reports the Marshfield News-Herald.
TOKYO A nine-month-old giraffe in Japan named Taiyo is getting a leg up in life after veterinarians have given him an artificial leg. Taiyos right foreleg was amputated in March and zoo-keepers think he broke his leg when a male zebra kept in the same enclosure butted up against him. Taiyos fake leg is made of bamboo, plaster, duct tape and the bottom of a rubber boot to prevent slipping.
