Ultimate Mama’s Boy Climbs Mt. Everest

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (Wireless Flash) – What’s a mountain climbing mama’s boy to do when he reaches the top of Mt. Everest? Call his mom, of course. According to mountain climber Sean Swarner’s father, Scott, when his son reached the top of Everest last week, he immediately called base camp and made sure his brother told his mom that he was safe. However, Swarner wasn’t alone on the climb. The sons of historic climbers Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, who were the first men to scale Everest 50 years ago, also made the ascent – though Papa Swarner says his son beat them to the top, making both parents very proud.
