Celebrity Prom Fashion Disasters

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Katie Couric may be a style maven now, but she wasn’t always a fashion plate. In fact, she admits she wants to kill herself when she sees pictures from her high school prom. The Today Show host confesses to the upcoming Biography magazine, “[My] prom night was not cool. It was completely dweeby.” Couric and her date wore coordinated white outfits: She, an eyelet dress with a white cigarette holder; he, a white tuxedo, top hat and cane. “At the time, we thought we looked fabulous – but now I look at those pictures and want to kill myself,” she says. But Couric isn’t the only celebrity with a prom fashion disaster: Matt LeBlanc wore a powder blue tuxedo to his prom and Lorenzo Lamas says his date dumped him when he showed up in a yellow polyester Saturday Night Fever suit.
