White Stripes Mystery Solved
White Stripes Mystery Solved
CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) The White Stripes mystery has officially been solved theyre not really brother and sister, theyre ex-spouses. The Chicago-based music website GloriousNoise.com has posted a copy of Jack and Meg Whites Sept 4, 1996 marriage license, which editor Jake Brown says he got from Detroits county clerks office. The license also reveals that Jack used to be known as John Anthony Gillis and took Megs last name, though Brown doesnt think its an example of them being a modern couple, stating: They were 21 years old. 21-year-olds do silly things. Brown says next he plans to post the Whites divorce certificate, just in time for the bands June 6 appearance on the MTV Movie Awards.
