MINNEAPOLIS (Wireless Flash) – Are you a dead ringer for Shaggy from Scooby-Doo? Then the folks at Dairy Queen want to hear from you. As a tie-in to the live-action Scooby-Doo movie hitting theaters next month, the ice cream store chain is holding a Shaggy lookalike contest. Folks who resemble the Scooby snack-loving beatnik are supposed to send in pictures of themselves in their best Shaggy poses. A spokeswoman says contestants can use costumes, props and even wigs to make themselves better resemble Shaggy – but judges have drawn the line at prosthetic noses or chins. Two winning Shaggys will get private movie screenings of Scooby-Doo and Dairy Queen ice cream cakes. Potential Shaggy clones can get entry forms at dairyqueen.com.
