Toilet Training Tragedy Leads To Instructional CD

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – Sometimes musical inspiration comes at the strangest times. For one Chicago woman, it happened when her daughter fell in the toilet. Vicki Esralew has just recorded a CD of toilet training tunes titled I Gotta Go! that came about after her daughter got stuck into the john up to her elbows. Hoping to eliminate further toilet woes, she started writing songs like “Pull-Down, Pull-On” and “I’m A Hottie For The Potty,” which has lyrics like, I’m a hottie for the potty, Now I’m really in the groove/ See me dancin’ and a-prancin’/ When my body has to move. Esralew says her kids went ga-ga for the commode carols and were motivated to use the potty properly almost overnight. Sound like a bunch of doo-doo? Maybe, but Esralew thinks singing to a potty-training pipsqueak boosts self-esteem more than other methods.
