The sky was dark and gloomy this morning. Listening to Switchblade Symphony on the drive to work didn't feel incongruous the way it did yesterday when I was going home and the sun was an unblinking white eye glaring at everything. No, this morning there was no sun, no searing brightness. It was pretty. On
an uglier note, somebody had left a month-old tabloid in the lunchroom.
I saw the pictures of Harris and Klebold's dead bodies while I was having
some pizza. It was gruesome. I lost my appetite. But maybe it was unrelated.
