We
went to the midnight screening of Hedwig at the Laemmle on Fairfax
last night. I'm not sure about the experience as a whole. I'm not sure
it's something I'd want to do again in the future. I really just wanted
to watch the movie and the live stuff was kind of distracting. If they'd
done it on the side aisles or at the back or maybe after the screening,
if seeing it was just sort of an option, then I guess it would've been
better for those people who just wanted to watch the movie and not be bothered
by other things. I was (am) fine with the audience shouting back at the
screen or singing along and what not, but the whole live theater thing
right in front of the screen was just... eh. Now, on the other hand, if
they'd served alcohol...
