There is a person I want to say thank you to. His name is Robert Howington, founder of Anti-Hero Art. He has been such a good friend to me for the past year and has helped in giving me the courage to create this website. Most of my so called friends urged me not to do it, telling me no one would want to read anything I have written and I shouldn't expose the people I intend to. I think most of them were worried I might put something embarassing, but true, about them on here. Robert never once said anything at all to intimidate me out of doing this. Maybe because he has been a good friend and has nothing to hide. If anything at all he was always there to listen and answer my many questions concerning HTML, uploading and all the other things it takes to put a site up. He was always patient with me if I didn't understand something. That may not seem like a lot to you, but anyone that has ever worked with me on any project knows I am anything but patient.
I consider myself lucky to have such a talented man willing to give his time to me. He is a great writer and one of the most intelligent people I have ever been lucky enough to meet. I have learned many valuable things from him, but the most valuable of all is to just do it and not worry about whether anyone likes it or not. He was kind enough to put a link to my site on his page. That alone meant a lot to me and when I started getting emails from visitors, they all said that they found my site from his link and they all told me how much they love his work and that I should consider myself lucky to have his recommendation. He has been writing for a long time and has published many books that are unique and thoughtful. By thoughtful I mean something that is true, not created for people to love, but loved because of the honest content and realistic view on life. He says the things we all think but don't say out loud. I have never met anyone that doesn't have an extremely high opinion of his writings. Some of them make me laugh til I cry when I sit here reading them. He has a great sense of humor and I love the sarcastic way it comes out.
I really can't find the words to say how I feel. That's unusual for me because most of the time I can't stop talking. But I guess, I really just want to say that he is a kind, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, funny, honest, sweet man and I couldn't ask for a better friend. He has done so much for me and never asked for anything in return. I don't really think he realizes what a great man he is and I wanted to let him know that I truly appreciate his friendship and hope that we remains friends throughout life.
