6) The Bible -- Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement Inc. - The creation story in the Old Testament is largely plagiarised from Sumerian and African myths (q.v. William Bramley's "The Gods of Eden" and Joseph Campbell's "The Power of Myth" series). The story of Noah is largely taken from the epic of Gilgamesh (q.v.), The Ten Commandments are plagiarisms taken from the Code of Hammurabi (which predates the Ten Commandments by several hundred years), and the "Golden Rule" ("lover others as you love yourself") was stated by Buddha several hundred years before Christ.
