:
Dear Lois, (Lois was the daughter of R.Franklin Cheuvront. She was my aunt.) Your mother’s book of poems is a precious gift . Poetry, verse,
or prose, if written by persons of dignity and perception, have from boyhood
been my solace; a discipline for directing mind and character, and last
but not least, some appreciation of the melody we call life.
Sincerely,
Vinton(Vint) was the son of Fredrick Clifton who was the son of Lemuel
Green 2 Cheuvront
