Is this what Joseph I Cheuvront looked like?   Perhaps!  This is a composite "portrait", constructed using images of these four Cheuvront men:

    As a technical note, I need to add that the images had to match (or nearly match) in pose, size, and the man's approximate age.   Although I had many more wonderful portraits to work from, not all of them were suitable for this morphing process, and unfortunately some photos, when enlarged enough to be a size match, were no longer clear enough to be of use.
    Interestingly, as I was choosing the photos to use, I did notice some very distinct family traits, most noticably in the cheeks, the hairline, the right-side eyebrow, and even ear shapes.
    Right now no one has uncovered any painted portraits of Joseph himself.  Until that day, maybe technology can help his descendants catch a glimpse of him. more morphs... Columbus and Robert Franklin, and Moses with Luther Clyde
