All kids out of the pool.... [CHRIS] Cartoon Network wants to make it very clear that cartoon's aren't just for kids. Numerous sources confirmed today that on September 2nd at 10pm, CN will premier Adult Swim, a 3 hour block from 10pm-1am. After premiering on Sunday, it will continue to air on Sundays and Thursdays. But here's the clincher - 5 out of the 6 shows that will be on it are Williams Street originals. The ones that aired unannounced at 5:00am. Hell yeah. In addition to the new episodes of Space Ghost, the series will include: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, about an elite group of detectives who happen to be human-size food items. Harvey Birdman, an animated courtroom drama about a crusading attorney and his cartoon clients. Home Movies, about the misadventures of a third grader and the dysfunctional adults in his life. Sealab 2021, a kitsch-filled update of the Hanna-Barbera oldie. Leave It to Brak, a Space Ghost spinoff about a demented alien coping with sitcom family life. The shows will all have TV-PG and TV-14 ratings and will have warnings before the shows start and after every commercial break. The folks at Williams Street did not fail us. Set your VCRs now, kiddies!
