alrighty, its been a damn long while since my last update, a little more than 3 months to be exact, but oh well, heh, there hasnt been too much to know about the band, due to the holidays and recording, but, if your interested, check out Roadrunner's Site for some cool stuff to read from the band. The new album is entitled 'Salvation' if any of you didnt know. later on kiddies.

The release date has been moved to February...isnt that awesome...seeing it move from september to october to fucking february...hah, oh well..

Coal Chamber frontman Dez Fafara recently commented on what to expect from the groups forthcoming new album, "Dark Days", which is tentatively due out through Roadrunner on October 09th. He went on to describe it as: "Way more aggressive, way more emotional, and about 10 times heavier than the first one. For me, this record is an all out assault. Every song feels live. What I mean by that is we can play every one of these live and they would work." He also went on to state: "What we did with the 2nd album was try to jump out of our genre, which maybe we did too much...but it's always good to stretch your wings. This album, we went much more for heavy hook than overall melody." He also revealed that there may possibly be some guests showing up on the CD. Currently, Jay Diablo of recent Interscope signee's, Dragpipe, may make an appearance on the album, as well as Motograter frontman, Bruce Butler.

Drums and bass are done. Guitar should be done today and vocals should be done on the 20th of this month. The new album is called "Dark Days". Release date is unknown right now.
