Paul Jeacock - 2000
|
This web page contains samples of my work that includes conceptual art, model making and sculpting, two-dimensional computer art and three-dimensional computer models, illustration and comic strip work. I worked for many years as a comic strip artist on various titles including: Slaine, Finn and Nemesis for 2000AD (Eggmont Press) Epiphigiam, Crusader, Redemer, Codex Assassin and Dwarflords for Warhammer Monthly (Games Workshop) Individual pieces include covers for both 2000AD and Warhammer Monthly and various other assorted comic, annual and album covers. Although the majority of my past work has been within the comic genre, I am trying to devote as much time as possible to the more neglected facets of my work. These have included sculpting, conceptual designs and model making. As a mainstream comic artist, most of the strips I work on are already conceptualised and have been running in the comic for a substantial period. I am used to working with writers and other artists and participating in collaborative projects to tight deadlines. Most of my previous work was published under the name of Paul Staples. In 1999 with the death of my grandfather and the birth of my first child, I reverted to the family name of Paul Jeacock. |
