Music:
Aimee Mann. Loved her appearance on Buffy recently. Been getting into some old Thin Lizzy bootlegs and b-sides. Also, Big Star and attendent side projects. I've just discovered that there's an album out by Chris Bell (of Big Star) called I Am The Cosmos and I would kill for a copy of it.
Film/Video:
Just saw Matrix Reloaded. Not bad, but the first is better. The new one's a bit talky for an action film. The main fault was its depiction of Zion - a rave party for ferals in an ugly underground city. Yuk! Awesome action scenes though.
TV:
Buffy, season seven, of course. And Angel. Both are sensational at the moment. Spike's just got his chip out in Buffy, and Faith's just returned in Angel. Seeing Faith again put a big smile on my face (and a warm feeling down below somewhere...:P
Boston Public. Okay, it's contrived and not very believable as a portrait of what goes on in schools, but damn it's entertaining and well written!
Reading:Oz: Into The Wild - Christopher Golden. Average Buffy book. Oz deserved better.
Projects: Contemplating working again on my Media site. The CD burning projects continue apace.
Events/Outings: Pretty much head down, bum up, working. Saw Sly and Robbie recently. Not bad, but I was a bit reggaed out by the end. Teenage Fanclub a few months back. Awesome.
Thoughts: I can't face the future alone.
