The Nineties

Baseball days with the Croydon Rams. This was at the Altona baseball field. I played there three times, and each time my team drew with the other team. Which is pretty darned unusual.

Panton Hill Sodbusters, circa 1934, just before the infamous 'Chelsea Glass Massacre'. We'd play every chance we got, in between jobs on 'the susso'. We lived hard and played hard...Oops, wrong life! Actually, this was at Panton Hill, up woop-woop, circa 1994. We won! But it was by no means a massacre. The guy standing on the left is Rob Coll, a Media student I taught at Lilydale High. And yes, the player next to him is a girl.

1997, in the backyard at Cambridge Road. I got the glasses in late 95, after having trouble picking out the fly-balls in the outfield.

Early 97, the back beach at Rye. Looking rough and craggy - just like that rock.

I look out at the ocean, pondering my future.

That's all. G'bye now!
