Charlie Schlatter

Charlie Schlatter starred in the title role in the series "Ferris Bueller." His television credits also include the film "Stormy Weather." Among the theatrical motion pictures in which he has appeared are "Bright Lights, Big City," "18 Again" (with George Burns), "Ed," "Heartbreak Hotel," "All-American Murder," "Sunset Heat" and the Australian feature "The Delinquents." He also appeared with Bill Cosby in a special episode of the hit CBS drama series "Touched By An Angel."

Charlie was born and raised in Bergen County, N.J., and began acting in student productions during junior high school. He starred in numerous plays at Ithaca College, where he earned a B.F.A. in musical theater. He also became a skilled musician, playing guitar, drums and piano and writing songs. He spent his summers appearing in summer stock.

Charlie lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife, Colleen, and their two small children. His birth date is May 1, 1966.
