Ok, let me just say right off the bat that I love psychology. I wanted to take it in high school, but alas, it never worked with my schedule (gotta love good ol' Ambridge scheduling and guidance...). Anyway, the first psych course I took at college was Psychology of Communication, which I took entirely by accident (Ok, so college guidance isn't always a whole lot better...warning to you high schoolers, if you end up with a crappy advisor, SWITCH). It didn't even end up counting as a psych class...for some reason it went under "speech and hearing," instead. Well, it just so happened that I had, like, the coolest professor in the world for that class, and I loved it. Then I took the psych course I was supposed to take, General Psych, and I loved that, too (I have never had a bad psych professor, ever...which is more than I can say for art, if you happened to read all about my psycho prof from freshman year.) I decided to minor in it, and now I've taken 5 psych courses that actually count for my minor, plus Psych of Comm., plus got the credits for Educational Psych, but didn't take it (CLEP test). I'll have the last 2 I need for the minor next semester, and then I'll probably end up taking another one for my last gen. ed. elective. Ok, I realize you probably couldn't care less... LOL
Anyway, my prof for Abnormal Psych thinks I should've been a psych major...and now I'm sorta thinking about art therapy (but don't know much about it...anybody with info, email me!)
Well the real reason for this page is that I've learned a TON of cool stuff this semester, so I wanted to tell everybody about some of it...including some quizzes you can take to learn more about yourself, and if I feel like sharing, I'll probably tell you how I scored, too.
