No one can replace Allen Woody, everyone knows that. But perhaps a greater tragedy would be to allow all the great music and vibes created by Gov't Mule over the years to stop entirely. It would be hard to believe that Woody wouldn't want the spirit and tradition he helped create to continue on in his absence. Although no official word has been made and the long term future of Gov't Mule remains uncertain, we welcome touring members David Schools (from WSP) and Chuck Leavell (ABB, Stones) on board and anxiously look forward to their new contributions and interpretations of classic Gov't Mule songs.
