Habitat For Humanity Hobbs)
 to Habitat For Humanity Hobbs.
This not-for-profit organization is devoted to
producing affordable quality homes in partnership
with families who do not qualify for conventional
mortgages. HFHH is in the process of building our second home.
Please watch our progress on this site. It is an
exciting time for our organization as we continue to
build hope and lives in Hobbs.HFHH is not a give-away program.
Its mission is to make home ownership possible
for families willing to help build their homes
and those of their neighbors. We call this cash-less
down payment sweat equity, and homeowner
candidates cannot purchase a HFHH home without
contributing at least 300 hours. Habitat for
Humanity works in partnership with people
everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop
communities with people in need by building and
renovating houses, so that there are decent
houses in decent communities in which people can
live. Habitat For Humanity Hobbs embraces this
concept and looks forward to bringing this
innovation to Hobbs. We have completed our "baby
steps" with the first project. And now as we begin our
second home we will
continue to teach, learn and grow in partnership
with the community.
All HFHH homes will be
built with a predominantly volunteer labor force
and are sold for the cost of constructing them.

Habitat for Humanity needs continuing donations of
money, skilled professionals and prayers in order to
build decent and affordable homes in Hobbs.
Money may be donated at $36.00 per square foot or
one-time donations of any
amount. Make checks payable and mail to:
