Richard X was born in the Philippines on a USA Army Base where is father was stationed. Richard was not a huge wresting fan as a kid but enjoyed it. As Richard grew older he become very fond of pro wrestling and wanted nothing more then to be apart of it. In that quest Richard met Ian Rotten and asked him to train him. While training Richard was reffing for the IWA. During that Chip Fairway, Shark Boy (Dean Baldwin), and GQ Masters III came to picking on Richard. Finally enough was enough and Ian Rotten came to Richard aide and the two teamed up against Chip Fairway and Shark Boy. In this match Richard would get a real test of how bad he wanted to be a wrestler. After the match he was ducked taped to the ropes along with Ian Rotten. Chip and Shark came to beat him viscously with a belt leaving welts on his back. Richard did not let that stop him from wrestling. He later teamed up with Hy-Zaya as they feuded with Suicide Kid and American Kickboxer in a long feud. It all came down to a six-man flaming tables match. Richard X and Hy-Zaya and their manager, Uncle Honkey Vs Suicide Kid and American Kickboxer and Ian Rotten. This is the match everyone will remember Richard for. Ian Rotten awesome bombed Richard onto a flaming table. Leaving him with 7% of his body burned with 2nd degree burns. Richard was in the hospital for 2 weeks, before returning and winning the IWA Mid-South Lightheavyweight Title, from his former partner Hy-Zaya who according to Richard "did not visit me once in the hospital" to this day Richard is still overcoming his injury every time he steps into a ring.
