Colt was trained at the Steel Domain Training Center located in Chicago IL. There, he was trained to be a pro wrestler by "Dapper" Danny Dominion and "Sexy" Ace Steel. Colt had his first professional match in July 1999 for the North American Wrestling Federation (NAWF). A very cocky young athlete; is aligned with manager Dave Prazak and Paul E. Smooth. Has made waves in IWA Mid-South during the summer months, facing such men as Blaze, Punk, Chris Hero, and B.J. Whitmer. A regular for St. Paul Championship Wrestling and AWA Superstars of Wrestling, Cabana also competes for the Michigan-based PWF. Colt Cabana faced Jerry Lynn on February 3, 2001 at the IWA 1st Anniversary Show in Charlestown and almost defeated the soon to be WWF LightHeavyweight Champion. It was his trainer Ace Steel who cost him the match. It was said to be the greatest match in IWA history but it was only to be for two weeks as Suicide Kid then faced Jerry Lynn in a 25 minute time limit draw. Colt was ranked #2 in the midwest on the Top 50 board to Suicide Kid's #1. April Blood Showers 2001 was supposed to be the first match between Colt and Suicide to determine just who was number 1. However due to Cash Flo injuring Suicide Kid, that match never took place. That injury has lead to Colt Cabana becoming the new #1 worker in the midwest. I personally look forward to when Suicide Kid returns and these two can finally meet and decide once and for all just who is the best.
