(3) The title was held up on 11-11-97 due to a double pin between Bull Pain and Paul Diamond. This match crowned a new champion.
(4) Axl Rotten was stripped of the title. This was a tournament final to crown a new champion.
(5) Tower of Doom was given authority to defend Ox Harley's title. Ian Rotten unmasks himself and continues as champion.
(6) Ian Rotten afterwards gives the title to Harry "Babe Magnet" Palmer.
(7) Title ruled vacant on 2-2-98 following a double pin between Suicide Kid and Chip Fairway.
(8) Dean Baldwin was given authority to defend Chip Fairway's title.
(9) Axl Rotten was stripped of title for non-defense. This was a tournament final.
(10) On 7-31-00, Ian Rotten announced on the hotline that due to an injury of Rollin Hard that he cannot continue to defend the title at this time and the title is being given to the number one contender, by way of his victory in the 3 way dance on 7/26, Mean Mitch Page.
(11) Bull Pain was stripped of the title 9-10-00. This was a tournament final to crown a new champion.
(12) The title was held up following a controversial victory by Harry Palmer on 9-23-00. This was a Title On A Pole match that crowned a new champion.
(13) Following a controversial title win by Todd Morton on 10-21-00, Ian Rotten stated that Morton did not meet IWA's "height qualifications" and held the title up pending a rematch on 10-25-00.
(14) This was a triangle match that saw Blaze pin Rollin Hard to become champion.
(15) This was a tournament final to fill vacancy due to Hido being defeated by Necro Butcher in non-title loser leave IWA match on 7-18-01
