Rollin Hard began his career in Jeffersonville, Indiana, under the guidance of Danny Davis using the name of Tornado Taz. After a brief hiatus from wrestling, he debuted for IWA at the very first IWA show at the Derby Sports Arena (later renamed the IWA Arena) on October 10, 1996, and made his wrestling debut in IWA one week later.

His first major feud in IWA was against Gator McAlister. These two men had a violent feud. They literally beat each other up each week they went out there.

Taz then took on Billy the P as his manager, which was quite ironic in the fact that Billy was the manager of Gator during the Tornado Taz/Gator McAlister feud. Around the same time, he began to receive quite an attitude and even changed his name to Trustworthy Taz. The once fan favorite began hearing many more boo’s after that

After a loss in the middle of the ring, .Taz got on the microphone and stated that you “would never see Taz in the IWA again” and that he was gonna “wrestle across the bridge” once again. Truer words were never spoken. You would never see TORNADO/TRUSTWORTHY TAZ in the IWA ever again.

Several weeks later, a colllection of African American television show theme songs played on the loudspeakers. Out comes a white man with an afro wig claiming to be the “Food Stamp Champ”. Thus, Rollin Hard was born.

Rollin’s biggest feud to date has been with Cash Flo. These two men have a storied past in the IWA. It would take me quite some time to cover everything that has went down between these two men. Some highlights include: a taipei death match in New Albany, Indiana, a thumbtack death match in Charlestown, Indiana (both were absolutely brutal), several battles between the two over the now defunct IWA Televison Title, and even a hair versus hair match at the Derby Sports Arena that saw Cash lose that match and actually had his hair shaved by several ringside fans.

Rollin Hard cemented his place in IWA history by winning the King of the Death Matches 2000. He defeated Corporal Robinson in a no rope barbed wire flaming casket match in the finals. That makes Rollin the Food Stamp Champ, Former 3 time Heavyweight champ and the King of the Death Matches. A very impressive resume for one of the top stars in IWA and one that is earned.
