Side and Back view of me mates VR Commodore, notice the spoiler.

The Red dots show the hidden screws that hold in the console face.

The 2 Yellow dots show the hidden clips the take out the plastic behind the center console.

The Green dots show where the hidden clips are that hold in the lower console face.

The green and yellow boxes show the most tricky part in this install.

When everything goes back into place there are 2 things to watch out for.

1st: Below the green box is a plastic slider which lets light pass through a small window which lights up the gear you are in,

2nd: Below the Yellow box is where you align the plastic slider on a set of spiked tracks, this can take a while to do. You have to put it in Park (with the lights on) and line up the plastic slider, then put it into 1st gear (9 times out of 10 it wont line up). the light must shine through each corresponding window, before you set it into the spiked track.

Then after that the lower center face goes on with out knocking the plastic slide.

The finished piece, Panasonic CQ-DF600w installed in a VR Commodore
