Seems my RL friends know about my secret life as Catskills Elf, so I got this nice pic via email. Note: that's my real harcolor right now...actually it's a bit more pinkish...and I also adjusted Eylana's ingame to match it *g*

Request: Please think of some background for your character. Doesn't have to go back to your char's childhood, if you don't want, but it should tell how you heard about the Council (Eylana claimed to have the word spreat by people that she trusts) and why your character thinks that is the right place to be. How long should it be? ...1 or 2 paragraphs...you should feel comfortable with it, please do more than two sentences though *g*.

The Council had it's first meeting today where Eylana told her new guildmates how she got the Idea to found it and what the guild is about. We also have our first bigger event planned for next Sunday (9/3/00) which will take the guild to a pilgrimage to one of the shrines. A story about today's event will follow, further details about the pilgrimage as well.

• To Do Ingame: find a Druid to join the Council, meet for a journey to the Shadow Ranger Library
• Guild Colors: Dye tubs are in the metal chest, 2nd floor

Recently added to the page: new Rules, Guild Structure, Offices, Professions, Guild Colors, Meeting description and the Guild Codex.

I'm still looking for Rites and Ceremonies for various events. When members get a title/rank awarded, when a recruit becomes a full member. I'd also see to celebrate us sepcial "holidays" events hat have a special theme and will be held every 6 months. Feel free to think of ceremonies and rites for other occasions as well. They should be fun, bring the guild together and involve activity and not only sitting around.

I'd like to have the ceremonies take place at special places, e.g. shrines, landmarks, buildings in town, etc. Something that gets us out and active. Places can be all over Britannia, in the Lost Lands or even in dungeons (as long as the chance is not too great to get the ceremony disrupted over and over). Please submit your ideas to me in the next days.

To do: spellcheck the site, get some rites together, complete the library, start with the roster, get some tales and screenshots together

Today I resigned from the GlamerVelt, I'm quite sad to leave this guild which was a good home to Eylana, although I hope that this guild here will become my new home and occupation for my char in UO. Here is the message I posted on the Glamervelt UOTC board:

ok, I'm leaving the Velt. I wish we had a concept and I wish we'd all agree on one thing and get something going, but I start to feel like Solon now when he came back, and that feeling isn't a good one...

I offered all the help I could until now, however it didn't quite work out, and I'm leaving my space for the next person to try - maybe a more able one that can realize her ideas more easily and get this really great guild going again.

Feel free to ask for advice, I will gladly give it, but I won't try to change anymore myself nor do I want to be part of any decision anymore.
