I. How to Join
- Read the Requirements to Join (see below)
- Download, Install ICQ and Contact me (Eylana: 67379237)
- Create a new Character if necessary
- Submit an Introductionary story with your characters background
- Be Welcomed as new Member of the Council
By being put on the stone and joining the guild, you agree on all the terms laid out on these pages.
You are expected to read the page anyway before joining.
II. Requirements
The best way to join is to create a new character. Sometimes we make exceptions, but this depends
mostly on the name (no Dood names) and the past of your character. If you want to join with an existing character,
you should at least write a story to make everything reasonable. Your character's personality can range from
Lawful Good to Neutral.
III. Roleplaying your Character
We take roleplaying very seriously. This means our goal is to be "in character" (IC) all the time!
If you are logging on to Ultima Online with your character, you are a member of the Council.
You think, act and talk like your character would. Britannia is reality for you, you don't know
that it is "just a game". You don't talk about game mechanics or real life matters ingame - this
should be kept strictly to ICQ.
Don't use IRC-style abbreviations while being IC, like "lol", "thx", "k", "u", "2" or smileys
(use emotes instead, like *laughs*, *grins*, *chuckles*, *smirks*).
Also don't break the rules, or complain about them. You knew the rules before you joined, and
they are not "rules" for your character. An Elf, for example, doesn't use halberds because he IS an
Elf, and not because it's forbidden. He is a proud Elf, and would never use such
blunt un-elegant weapon.
