Council Meetings

The current meeting date and time is not set yet.
The current meeting place is the Shadow Wood Guild house.

The Advocate acts as mediator of those meetings, where all full council members will have an equal vote. Although it is the right of the Advocate to have the final word on all matters. Voting must be done at the meeting, there will be no proxy voting and late votes won't be accepted.

At every meeting the elected officials have to report the Council, depending on their office, about new recruits, training of members, the state of the treasury and the guild stock and about political changes is Britannia - those include wars, alliances, new guilds and possible allies and enemies for the Council itself.

Then the Advocate and the members will bring up guild issues and discuss them. Examples are new guild rules, member changes and places or events of interest to the council where action must be taken by the Council.

Either as part of this discussion or after it, Guests that have business with the council will be welcomed and the reasons for their coming will be discussed.

Certain meetings might also include ceremonies or rituals that might include members and non members.

OOC Note: Votes are given per player and not per character. Since players aren't usually online and at the meeting with two characters at the same time with two accounts, this shouldn't be an issue anyway.
