The Advocate
Also known as Advocate of Truth. The Advocate of truth acts as a governing head, and mediator of meetings and disputes. When the Council of Seven is convened, the Advocate acts as head of the Council. The Advocate of Truth is the Guild master of the Shadow Wood council, and will continue to be until he/she steps down. At this point, should the event ever occur, a member of the Council of Life shall be elected to replace the Advocate, if no new Advocate has been chose by the retired one.

The Advocate's duties are to keep the guild running smoothly - administering the guild-stone, helping people with IC and OOC problems, setting up alliances and wars, plots and events.

The Keeper of Keys
The Keeper of Keys maintains the property of the Council and must be a most trustworthy and honest person. The Keeper can declare people friends of the house, manages the treasury and watches over the stock of resources. He must report at the weekly meetings about the status of all those - new friends made to the houses, the amount of money in the treasure and he must report if any goods need to be restocked by the craftsmen. The Keeper of Keys gets elected by all members of the Council.

Keeper of Lore
The Keeper of Lore keeps his eyes open, recording the events in the realm that might be of interest to the Council. This includes maintaining good relationships with the Council's allies and keeping an Eye on evil forces lurking out there. The Keeper of LOre should know Britannia's languages and customs, and educate the other Council members about them. Bards and Scribes make great candidates for this position.

Elf Friend
This title honors very trusted and distinguished members of the Council. The Ancient Council of Shadow Wood which existed hundreds of years ago was founded by Sosarian Elves, and being declared an Elf Friend meant they would trust one like their own kin - and so it also should be today.

The Sword of Virtue
This title is given to the leader of armed forces of the Council, who has the command in battle, organize war parties and is in charge of training and equiping the fighters - and all other council member who turn to him to get combat training. The Keeper of Keys has to give him free access to weapons, armor and any other resource that is needed for his task. The Sword of Virtue should be a person that shows Valor, Honor and Justice in battle. Another requirement is a sharp mind to figure out battle tactics and be clever enough to sheath the sword when other paths might achieve the Council's goals.

The Eye of Wisdom
The Eye of Wisdom is the head of the mages and druids and should know their ways and encourage that both Mages and Druids might learn from each other and eventually pass on their knowledge to other members of the Council. In war times the Eye of Wisdom has to coordinate the actions of the Mages and Druids with the Overall strategy set forth by the Sword of Virtue. The holder of this title should also help the Keeper of Lore to accomplish his task, by getting him to remote location or sharing the wisdom of the mages.

The Heart of Spirituality
The most Spiritual member shall be chose to act as the Priest of Virtues for the Council. The Heart of Spirituality is expected to lead the ceremonies of the Council, educate the members about the virtues, to organize pilgrimages and to uphold the Virtues all the time.
