Monsterbot's latest videos: The Rico Verzosa Trilogy
Watch
Monsterbot's latest videos online! Featuring "The Rico Verzosa
Trilogy". Filmmaker Rico Verzosa is actually the sixth member
of Monsterbot. All three videos were made under low budget constraints.
The band would prepare the food and buy the tapes, Rico would
organize the whole thing, borrow the equipment, occular, invite
friends to help, direct, shoot, the works, then party after! That's
how it went for the gang, no big equipments, guerilla style and
just doing it. The video for "epekto" featuring Pan/
Yano frontman, Dong Abay was nominated for Best Indie Video at
the MTV Pilipinas 2005 Awards. Other videos include "I wonder..."
(featuring art by Carlo Buenaventura and Jao Mapa) and "burning"
(starring Coffee Break Island keyboardist - Leo Sano). Check out
also Verzosa's video for Too late the hero. See
videos now!
