Soon after I installed Win98 English, I had everything working...except the SmartCapture program. I kept getting the following error messages:

You can fix that problem by changing the registry item below
1.) start regedit.exe
2.) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Sony Corporation\Smart Capture\Finder
AudioCaptureDevice: "ESS AudioDrive Restore (220)" change to "ESS AudioDrive (1)"

After you've installed the Smart Capture program, you need to install the right codecs.
Assuming the smartcapture program installed itself into the default location, you need to run vdoDecode30.exe,
which is in the c:\Program Files\Sony\Smart Capture\decorder directory. This installs the VDOnet VDOWAVE3 video codec.
