After the PKK assault against
the hamlet of Bahcebasi, Midyat on 20.08.1987 where five people
(3 children, 1 woman, and 1 man) had lost their lives,
a PKK member said,"... The people in that village didn't want to recognize
our authority, there was only thing to do. We attacked the village,
later we learnt that "five people had been killed in the attack."From
