Cirque du
Soliel. If you ever have a chance to see one
of Cirque du Soliel's performances, take it.
I saw La Nouba, which is in Orlando, Florida, near
Disney's Pleasure Island, and I saw Allegria,
which was at Beau Rivage on the Mississippi Gulf
Coast until October 2, 2000. I enjoyed both of
them. I even still have the tickets I used to get
in. (No, they're not for sale.)
Role-Playing & Gaming
White
Wolf Online. I like White Wolf's World of
Darkness role-playing setting. White Wolf is
also responsible for Trinity, Aberrant, and most
recently, Sword & Sorcery, and Adventure.
Wizards of
the Coast. Magic: the Gathering, Pokemon (the
trading card game, not the video games), AD&D, and
various other games can be found here.
Steve
Jackson Games. The people who do GURPS and
various other game settings. In Nomine
looks interesting....
RPG.net. A
good place for role-playing news, as well as
reviews of RPGs (except for console RPGs, it
seems) by the people who buy the books.
Total
RPG. This is a neat website for console RPG
news and reviews. By "console" I mean games for
systems like the PlayStation, the Nintendo 64, and
other systems like that. Unfortunately, it's
badly in need of updating.
PlayOnline.com. Squaresoft's website. This
website uses Shockwave a whole lot, so make sure
your browser can handle it.
GameSpot. This is the video games section of
GameSpot, which I visit reguarly.
WomenGamers.com. The title is pretty self-explanatory.
This seems to be mainly a site about video games rather than
pen & paper games.
Furry
Dakota's
Ridge. A comic about a mountain lion named Dakota and
his friends. They live in a wildlife reserve.
White Wolf's Art Gallery. One of the many
talented furry artists whose websites and/or work
I've come across. There are some, like White
Wolf here, who will even accept commissions.
The Zoo Ring. This is a list of sites that
are part of The Zoo Ring. This is just one of the
webrings for zoophiles, and is a good starting
place for finding out about zoophilia straight
from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
Funny Stuff
Iowa Farmer
Today. Where else can you watch soy beans or corn grow
or watch cows get milked online? We are told that "milking
takes about three hours."
Time Cube. You'd
think that "the Greatest Thinker and the Wisest Human" could
at least form a coherent sentence.
Free Stuff
FreeRide.
Even though this site often frustrates me to no
end with various website maintentance problems,
using FreeRide is, or at least used to be, a
fairly quick and easy way to get things like gift
certificates to
Amazon.com. If you sign up, tell them
pmilam sent ya.
