In pediatrics,I made sure towels were folded, got medical equipment for the doctors and nurses, filled ice buckets for patients and their visitors, and occasionally answered the phone. Miscellany:

Cottage Hill Baptist Church

4255 Cottage Hill Road
Mobile, Alabama 36609

(251) 660-2422

http://www.cottagehill.org/

I have participated as a choir member (tenor voice part) in the Mobile Christmas Spectacular at Cottage Hill Baptist Church, since the 8th or 9th grade in 1990 or 1991, until part of the way into my college career, in 1998.

Baker Regional School

8901 Airport Boulevard
Mobile, Alabama 36608-9599

During the 12th grade, one of the classes I took was Creative Writing. During part of that time, during the second semester, I would spend the Creative Writing period on Fridays and my time off for lunch on Monday through Friday in the regional school located at Baker. It was (and might still be) the only regional grade school for the deaf and blind in Mobile, Alabama. I observed and occasionally got involved in two different classes for kindergrarden and 1st and 2nd grade deaf and hearing impaired students. This was one of two things which got me interested in learning American Sign Language (the other being a deaf friend closer to my own age).

Awards
I, along with the other students in the Creative Writing class who visited the Regional School, got a Volunteer Award certificate on May 3, 1995.

Websites

I used edit a fantasy role-playing newspaper. I gave it a website sometime in 1998 or 1999, at http://www.angelfire.com/al/darkhope/index.html. I don't plan to update it any more, but you can look at what's left of it until I decide to take it all down.

I have a personal website at http://www.webspawner.com/users/darkhope/.
