Balint Miklos and Noemi Bedo are the 2000 Junior Champions!
This is once again a double victory for CSS Miercurea Ciuc!

Between 18-20 February was organized the Romanian Junior Championships. There were 5 men and 11 lady competitors, from 3 different cities.
The defender champion in ladies category, Noemi Bedo was second after the short. Roxana Luca skated a clean short program with a solid 3loop+2toe combo, 2axel and 2lutz, while Noemi Bedo landed 3salchow+2toe combo and 2axel, but missed a spin and the 2lutz.
The next day Noemi Bedo landed 2 times 3salchow and 2axel, and small mistake on a doule jump. Roxana Luca skated last, but it wasn't her day. She fought through the program, but couldn't land any of her triples, and landed a 2axel, and a few other doubles. In the rest of the field there wasn't a clean 2axel.
In the men's field Balint Miklos won both the short and the free. The author and the skater is the same person. So, I'll write it this way.
I was injured since the end of October and even now I'm not fully recovered yet. It is some ankle problem. I started to practice a few weeks before this competition, and could get back a few triples. Because the right foot is injured I couldn't do flip and lutz, but the other triples and the 2axel was landed in my free program.
There was a syncronized skating team, too. It's a pitty that there is only this one team in the whole country, but they performed well.
