When Dee told me about the heinous plot to assassinate NSYNC, I laughed. I'm sorry. But I did. I know I shouldn't. I'm fully aware of how big a bitch that makes me. But there's just something hilarious about it. Guy trying to kill the president of France=scary. Guy trying to kill a boy band=funny.
I'm not the only one who thinks so. When I walked into the living room and shared this tidbit, people started falling off the couch. We all apologized profusely, but we were still cackling. We knew it was evil of us. But we couldn't stop.
What makes it extra fun is the fact that the poor kid who was plotting NSYNC's demise was motivated by the fact that NSYNC "got all the best chicks". Now if that isn't comedy I don't know what is.
And mainly,
you have to wonder if the members of NSYNC ever sit around and laugh
about the murder plot. Because on the one hand, of course it's horrible and
scary that someone wanted to kill you. But on the other hand, someone tried
to kill NSYNC. Because they get all the best chicks.
And that's just damn funny. It just is.
