Arabic Voice SUPPORT : Voice Chat Help
Make sure that your microphone and speakers are set up
properly before you try to use Voice Chat.
If you can hear sounds and record your voice in other programs,
you're all set.
We recommend that you click on the "Audio Test"
to help you configure your microphone .
Note: If you do not have a small speaker icon on the right hand
side of the taskbar (normally at the bottom of your screen),
then you either do not have a sound card or do not have
appropriate sound drivers installed.
A gray or white box may appear during the first 60 seconds
while the web page is loading. After loading, you should see a
"Security Warning" window pop up, to which you want to click
"yes." Beyond this point, the plug-in should work normally.
If you continue to see this gray or white box , please click on contact
in the main page and send us an email , we will be happy to help you
any way we can ....
Video Chat Help
If you see a red "X" in the upper left hand corner of video chat page,
you may not have "Microsoft's NetMeeting application" installed on
your computer or you may need to download and install
the most current version.
DownLoad it from the main page of arabic voice chat
(it should take about 10 minutes).
**Aol users have to minimize Aol software and
open Internet Explorer to see thier real IP Number .
To start a video chat,
You will first have to find out the address
of the computer that you plan on connecting to.
you should see your IP number on top of the netmeeting
in the video chat page . If you dont see it then
The best way to find your IP address is to
click on UNDOCK under netmeeting then click
on help then click on about neteeting .
At the bottom of that window you will see
a set of numbers e.g. ( 168.234.231.2 )
write down that number and give it to your friend
If you call and it says caller can not accept calls ,
tell your friend to open net meeting from his computer ,
click on call on the top and click on automaticly accept calls ,
you should also do the same thing if you
want people to be able to call you .
You do not have to have a pc camera to use netmeeting ,
you will be able to see your friend's video but
he will not see yours .
Every time you or your friend log off the internet
and come back ,you have to get the new IP number to
be able to video chat .
After calling and connecting ,it may take a little time
to recieve and transmit audio and video through Netmeeting .
Video chat is for 2 people only and its private ,
no one else will hear you or see you ( great for family meetings ) .
